The workers in my Dad's office work away in their little modular office furniture cubicles, I watch that when I was kid , they had been assigned for life, thinking nothing of themselves, and I was like watching little worker ants dutifully managing the one or two tasks and I was think that the people seemed happy, to me it seemed so dreary and gray in there, the tables and desks is standard and very nature, were usually heavy metal and much to small to be any real use, I wondered how those poor people could get through the day without going crazy. Because everything was institutional and bland, and maybe the workers is not aware

But my Dad's office was different, because my dad is the boss so he got to enjoy the perks of having his own office, it seemed so big and impressive, so no boring modular office furniture in there, a big leather studded chair and tall wall shelves full of important looking books and figurines, I remember that, I feel like in a very important place because, there were always stacks of file folders and papers on his desk, and plenty of tables and chairs, and even a couch, we used to hide behind the large plants by the window or under his desk, the times have changed, I admit, it was a charmed youth, usually it was enough to know that Dad would protect us from anything as dreary as ordinary work tasks but we could imagine that we were almost anyone in that place
